chronic summer boredom

She was a good looking girl, in an ordinary kind of way. Her hair was cropped short, light brown and straight. Her skin was fairly tanned, evidence of the chronic summer boredom she had complained about. She wore a blue spandex top that pulled her breasts fairly flat, although it was obvious they were bigger than they seemed. There was a slight bulge to her brown belly. Her grey running shorts hung like a skirt. I gave her a drink, a tall concoction of lemonade and spirits. It was the best I could do, under the circumstances.
