eclectic songs

I want ocular proofs. Singers assembled in a long rotating list rise from their seats to take the stage in turn, opening their mouths to frame a series of eclectic songs self-chosen from the recorded history of vocal music, mostly since the fifties, mostly from the more recent past, popular standards tailor chosen to suit temperament and range, country style for the shallow, punk metal rap for the angry, heavy rock ballads expressing angst, lounge music in quest of class, comic numbers for the moment lifted.
