weirdos in the back alleys

Shades of ideas still haunting my mind, a text based world well suited to mine, where a single naked photo could take hours to download, where the world of readers was so finite we all knew each other and the weirdos in the back alleys of the net, the cryptos and the 2600, the swingers and gamers and perverts beyond the pale, the fans, the venom, the love, emptiness, horrible stories told in amazing ways, beautiful stories told in horrible mechanical ways, the interplay and disjunction, the lives perpetually severed, although there remains one among them I could contact, the best of them all in my eyes but for an ambition to write more when a blog was constructed from UNIX, when history was lost when companies folded.
